The Krause Center for Innovation at Foothill College and Silicon Valley Education Foundation are making a valiant attempt to launch a certification program in educational technology for school administrators—you know, like principals, district office staff, even superintendents! Yours truly is working on the syllabus for the first course and it’s a lot of fun.
School administrators are so over-booked. Essentially, they’re “on stage” pretty much 20 hours a day. So we’re thinking this course, if nothing else, can help them capture a bit of time to shift their focus, at least a few hours a week, from the trees to the forest. Wish us luck!
